We focused on the main living areas and introduced colourful elements in decoration and furnishings.  The house itself has an abundance of light at the rear, lending itself well to a Mediterranean feel which worked well with the clients’ own links to France and enthusiasm to incorporate into the overall design. Recognising the house needed to work better for a growing family, it was essential to include storage options and bespoke seating that would serve them well for years to come. Fun elements in fabric patterns and wall finishes introduced a feminine touch. Bespoke built-ins emphasized the focal point around the fireplace, anchoring the room and balancing the TV with a bar area for the grown-ups. The clients, husband and wife, both loved the end result.
